What is the RangeTime target app?
RangeTime is a mobile app for iPhone and Android that can scan any rifle or pistol target and provide a score. The score includes distance from bullseye, grouping, and MOA.
What features does it offer?
The initial features for the RangeTime app include target scanning and scoring, a shot log, and the ability to challenge your friends and others on our competitive shooting leaderboards. This wide range of features makes RangeTime one of the most versatile shooting apps available.
How does it find my aim point and bullet holes on the target?
RangeTime uses image recognition and AI to spot the aimpoint and bullet holes. The AI will allow for improved speed and recognition as more targets are scored.
What do I get with the Premium App download? How much does it cost? Do my friends need a Premium App download before I can share targets, scores and challenges?
You can download the Premium app directly on the iTunes store or Google Play. Alternatively, you can download the free version and then upgrade to Premium in the app. To challenge friends, they must have downloaded the app.

Your shot log will have the distance from aimpoint for every shot on every target.
How do I view my shooting and scoring history? What data is available for me to view?
Your shooting history and scoring are available in the Shot Log. You will be able to view the target with the bullet holes and aim point labeled. We have future plans to allow users to utilize their historical data.
How do I access my target images? How many images can I store?
Your targets are saved on the shot log that comes with having a Premium account on the RangeTime app.

How does it compute my score?
Scores are computed by measuring the distance from bullet holes to the aimpoint. Starting with 10 every inch from the aimpoint is a point deduction. Bullseye is 10 points, 1 to 2 inches from aim point is 9 points. 2 to 3 points aim point is 8 points, and so on. The tiebreaker is the average distance from aimpoint.
Can I use any target?
Yes, RangeTime was designed so friends did not need matching targets. The game is closest to the bullseye and all targets can be used.
